The Eastern Townships form a region of many contrasts. Climate and nature are gentler here than anywhere else in Québec. The area has an abundance of lakes nestling between protective hills, of calm, blue rivers and of valleys home to hamlets each distinctive in its own right. A number of villages have a special charm reminiscent of their New England cousins.
